INTENTIONAL LEADERSHIP

Lead with clarity and purpose.
Parenting requires daily decisions that shape the tone, values, and direction of a home. Intentional leadership helps parents move out of reaction and into steady, faith-filled guidance aligned with long-term family values.

FAMILY LEADERSHIP & CONNECTION

Strong families are built—not assumed.
Healthy relationships don’t happen by accident. They grow when parents lead with consistency, presence, and care, creating homes where trust, respect, and connection can take root.

COMMUNICATION THAT STEADIES, NOT ESCALATES

How parents lead is heard more than what they say.
Clear, calm communication sets boundaries, reduces conflict, and builds trust. When parents speak with steadiness and intention, families feel safer and more connected.

Hilary

Founder of Ascente

Hilary is a Christian mother, educator, and family communication coach who understands how complex family leadership can feel—especially in today’s fast-paced, emotionally charged world.

As a high school math teacher and advocate for multigenerational living, Hilary has spent years observing how patterns, pressure, and miscommunication shape family dynamics. As a mom of two daughters, she has lived the tension between wanting deep connection and needing to lead with clarity—and she knows firsthand that love alone doesn’t always bring peace.

Hilary lives in a multigenerational home, a setting she has intentionally embraced for over six years. Sharing daily life across generations has deepened her understanding of boundaries, responsibility, and the steady leadership required to create harmony rather than resentment. It has also strengthened her conviction that families thrive when expectations are clear and relationships are anchored in respect.

With degrees in business and religion and a foundation rooted in Christian faith, Hilary brings both structure and spiritual grounding to her work. Her experience as a high school math teacher reinforces what she sees in families every day: when systems are unclear, frustration grows—but when structure is restored, confidence and peace follow.

That belief is at the heart of Ascente.

Through Ascente, Hilary helps parents step out of reaction and into calm, faith-filled authority. Her work is not about fixing children or chasing perfection—it’s about restoring leadership so families can communicate clearly, hold healthy boundaries, and build trust that lasts across seasons and generations.

Hilary believes families don’t need more pressure or parenting trends. They need clarity, steadiness, and the confidence to lead well.

She Understands

Hilary understands the weight of family leadership—not just in theory, but in real life.

She knows what it’s like to juggle competing needs, manage emotional moments, and wonder how to lead well without creating distance. She understands that strong families aren’t built through perfection, but through clarity, consistency, and a willingness to stay steady when things feel messy.

Hilary’s approach is grounded in intentional living, Christian faith, and practical communication that works in real homes. She doesn’t offer quick fixes or surface-level encouragement. She helps parents do the deeper work of restoring leadership, strengthening boundaries, and communicating in ways that reduce conflict and build trust over time.

This work isn’t about getting everything right.
It’s about showing up with purpose, leading with calm authority, and growing together—one steady step at a time.
